Krida means – merriment , fun , joy and games. Fun with rhythms and melodies, with movements and space, with aesthetic and energy. The piece explores the contemporary strength of both Indian Classical Music and Dance , keeping it deep rooted with the fundamentals. The choreography plays with the strength of fluid arm movements and intricate rhythms with modern presentation of spatial expansiveness.

TRISHNA

The nayika or female character, he was given a great importance in Indian Classical Dance based on their emotions and sensitive temperament.  
This composition takes nayika (Radha) going through various emotions, in which she looks forward to her beloved (Lord Krishna)  
The Classical thumri has two different rhythmic systems which are cleverly merge to create a sense of unity. The  heart of thumri  lies in the dancer´s process of  investigating  the concept of 'waiting'.
