LILA means play -  play of aesthetics of life.

LILA is a spiritual reward given by Lord Krishna- the dancing god who plays the flute, to his devotees which is divine yet is playful. It’s a concept in the workshop of Lord Krishna which explores the universal poignant emotions of  love, longing, attachment, separation, union however is full of mischief and pranks  engaged by the Lord with his devotees,  through the medium of  dance.

The performance negotiates the divine aesthetics inherent in the traditional Kathak vocabulary of flamboyant movements and complex joyful rhythms with contemporary poetic story telling which explores “the  space” – not only outer but also Inner.
